The slalom has distributed all its places

All lines are filled. Less than 20 days before the opening of the Paris 2024 Games, the International Canoe Federation (ICF) announces that all quotas have been allocated for the slalom events. In total, 82 athletes from 32 countries on five continents will participate in competitions at the Vaires-sur-Marne site. Among them, an athlete member of the IOC Refugee Olympic team, Amir Rezanejad Hassanjani. Host country of the Games, France obtained six quotas. It will therefore be represented in canoe, kayak and kayak cross, for women and men. One rank below, three countries have won five quotas: the Czech Republic, Spain and Germany. Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Slovenia and Slovakia follow closely, with four places each. Two countries will make their debut in canoe-kayak slalom at the Paris 2024 Games, Tunisia and the Comoros. The slalom competitions will take place in Vaires-sur-Marne from July 27 to August 5.
