It's done. Bangkok is now very officially the host city of the SportAccord 2018 Convention. The signing of the contract took place on Wednesday May 31 in the Thai capital. Proof of the importance of the event for the country's authorities, the presence during the ceremony of General Tanasak Patimapragorn, Thai Deputy Prime Minister, and Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, the Minister of Tourism and Sports. The next edition of the SportAccord Convention will take place from April 15 to 20, 2018.
