The International School Sport Federation (ISF) and the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) signed a memorandum of understanding in Lausanne. It sets out common objectives for to promote the teaching of baseball/softball in schools worldwide, including a possible integration of WBSC disciplines into future editions of the ISF Gymnasiade.
This partnership relies particularly on Baseball5, a simplified version of baseball/softball, particularly suited to schools and urban environments.
