Sally Pearson, the Olympic 100m hurdles champion at the London 2012 Games, laid the foundation stone for a future career as a sports movement leader. She now sits on the board of directors of Athletics Australia. “ I am very much looking forward to starting working with the council, to contribute to the development of our sport”, explained the young woman, now 31 years old, returned to her highest level last year at the World Championships in London, where she won a second world title.
