Sales continue

PYEONGCHANG 2018

Records are made to be broken, they say. The PyeongChang Paralympic Games are not holding back. At the latest count, announced this Thursday March 15 at the start of the day, the event sold the very unexpected number of 331.000 tickets. A result which should further increase until the closing ceremony, Sunday March 18. With this performance, the Games set a new record, much higher than the result recorded four years earlier in Sochi, where the winter Paralympic event attracted 316.200 spectators. As a reminder, South Korean organizers and the IPC have long feared a major flop, with sales standing at less than 0,5% last October.
