No time to lose. The American Figure Skating Federation (US Figure Skating) has announced that the 2026 United States Championships, the last stop before the Milan-Cortina Winter Games, will be held in St. Louis. The competitions will be held from January 5 to 11 on the ice of the Enterprise Center, the home of the St. Louis Blues in the NHL. At this stage, the American body has not yet defined the selection criteria for the Olympic Games. For Beijing 2022, Team USA was composed by a selection committee, based on the results obtained during the year preceding the Games. The next season could once again be decisive for qualification. The 2025 United States Championships will take place from January 20 to 26 in Wichita, Kansas. The world championships are scheduled on American soil, in March in Boston. They will determine the number of quotas for the American team for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Games. As a reminder, a country can present a maximum of three skaters per discipline at the Olympic Games.
