The reform is underway

UCI

Cycling reform, initiated by the new president of the UCI, Briton Brian Cookson, is underway. At its first meeting of the year in Hoogerheide, the Netherlands, the UCI Steering Committee adopted the regulations of the Independent Cycling Reform Commission (CIRC). Staff for one year from 1er February, it covers how the UCI will cooperate with the CIRC and particularly the procedures in place to enable the CIRC to offer sanction reductions to those admitting previous anti-doping infractions. Furthermore, the UCI approved the allocations of the 2018 MTB & Trial World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) and the 2016 Para-cycling Track Championships in Pietermaritzburg (South Africa).
