The upcoming World Softball Championships, scheduled to take place July 15-24, 2016 in Surrey, Canada, will be broadcast entirely over the Internet. All 124 matches of the competition will be offered to Internet users in streaming, with comments for each of the matches and the possibility of rewatching the events in replay. According to the International Baseball and Softball Federation (WBSC), this coverage exceeds anything previously achieved for a major event in the international softball season. But this innovation will not be free: it will cost $19,95 to follow the entire competition on the worldsoftball.tv platform.
