A tradition. The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) has named its trio of international sporting events having offered the media the best facilities and working conditions during the year 2022. In the category of multi-sport events, the AIPS highlights the Beijing 2022 Winter Games, organized in a health bubble, but equipped with the largest main press center (MPC) in history for a Winter Games; the European multi-sport championships in Munich; and finally the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. For individual sports, the prize goes to the main press center of the World Cup in Qatar (photo above), and more broadly to the stands and press centers of all the stadiums of the competition. Two other international events are distinguished for the quality of the working conditions offered to the media: the Swimming World Championships in Budapest and the Women’s Euro Football Championship in England.
