Presidential visit

CAN

The qualification of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) team for the semi-finals of the African Football Cup of Nations has disrupted the schedule of Joseph Kabila, the country's president. He arrived Monday evening in Equatorial Guinea, where he is to “encourage” the national team during their match against Ivory Coast, Wednesday February 4. “The priority today is to encourage the players before the two matches they have left to play,” a communications advisor to Joseph Kabila told AFP.
