Is this the end of visas in Russia? For athletes, surely. Russian President Vladimir Putin has just issued a decree now exempting all athletes, coaches, members of delegations and referees of international events organized in the country from visa requirements. Entry into Russia will be possible by presenting accreditation for the competition concerned. This measure will be effective for the world athletics championships in August 2013 in Moscow.
