Parity at the Athletes’ Commission

The International Cycling Union published this Friday, June 12, the results of the elections to its Athletes' Commission. A commission whose representatives come from four continents and reflects the gender parity desired by Brian Cookson, the president of the UCI. It is made up, for the road, of Bobbie Traksel (Netherlands) and Iris Slappendel (Netherlands), for the mountain bike of Greg Minnaar (South Africa) and Georgia Gould (United States), for the BMX of Donny Robinson (United States) and Mariana Pajon (Colombia), for the track of Kevin Sireau (France) and Anna Meares (Australia), for the para-cycling of Tobias Fankhauser (Switzerland) and Greta Neimanas (United States), for the cyclo -cross by Marianne Vos (Netherlands), for trial by Kenny Belaey (Belgium), and finally for indoor cycling by Manuel Kopp (Germany).
