Change of mind in international cycling. The Cycling Anti-Doping Foundation (CADF) announces via a press release the appointment of Olivier Banuls as new director. He will take up his duties on December 1, 2019, replacing the Italian Francesca Rossi, recruited by the French Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD). Deputy director of the CADF since 2015, Olivier Banuls is therefore moving up a notch. After joining the UCI anti-doping department in 2007, he rose through the ranks of the now independent CADF. Holder of a Master's degree in computer science (INSA Lyon) and in international management, law and human sports sciences (FIFA Master), he is also a graduate of the Faculty of Advanced Commercial Studies of the University of Lausanne (HEC). As a reminder, the CADF manages the UCI anti-doping programs, financed by all stakeholders in the cycling community.
