O’Grady loses big

Doping

Confessing to having used EPO before the 1998 Tour de France, where he won a stage and wore the Yellow Jersey, had an unexpected consequence for Australian cyclist Stuart O'Grady. The most recent retiree from the peloton was sacked from the Australian National Olympic Committee. The other members of this institution declared themselves angry and frustrated at having “trusted a cheat”, explaining that they could no longer accept his presence on the Committee.
