Milan-Cortina 2026

The organizers of the next Winter Games have made official the signing of a partnership with FNM on Monday. The group, omnipresent in the rail, road and urban mobility in Lombardy, will be sponsoring regional transport for the 2026 Olympic Games according to the published press release. It will provide “the necessary mobility services across the territories that will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games”. FNM will have the role of strengthening rail services and setting up free shuttles between Tirano station and the Olympic sites of Bormio and Livigno. Its activity will also extend to bus lines, parking management and transport planning.

“This agreement marks a strategic step in our journey towards the Games, as it allows us to implement an integrated and efficient mobility system for athletes, spectators and local communities, says Andrea Varnier, the general director of OCOG. It is a tangible commitment that underlines the role of sport as a driver of connection, accessibility and innovation.” This is the third partnership announced by Milan-Cortina since the beginning of the month after those concluded with the production company Harder Than You Think and with Stellantis.
