Mutko takes matters into his own hands

Russia

Vitaly Mutko, the Minister of Sports, is accelerating in the race against time for Russian sport to be admitted to the Rio Games. He told the BBC that all athletes competing at the 2016 Olympics would have to undergo three anti-doping tests conducted by the IAAF before their selection. He also specified that two international experts would have full and permanent access to the Russian anti-doping agency. “We 100% support WADA, the IOC and the IAAF in their efforts to weed out cheaters,” says Vitaly Mutko.
