The International Ski Federation (FIS) has not yet completely finished the puzzle of the next Alpine Ski World Cup season (the final calendar will be known on October 3), but it has revealed some ideas . France will take center stage in December, with a succession of three weekends of competition in Val d'Isère and Courchevel. Switzerland, for its part, is seeing its habits disrupted by the constraints of the health crisis. The Saint-Moritz resort could host two women's super-Gs (December 5 and 6), with a women's double downhill the following month in Crans-Montana (January 23 and 24). Also in Switzerland, Adelboden would host two giants and a slalom (January 8 to 10), Wengen would host a sprint downhill and a classic downhill (January 15 and 16), plus a slalom (January 17). On the other hand, the return of the World Cup to Davos, announced for this season, has been postponed for a year. As for the finals, they should take place in Lenzerheide, from March 15 to 21, 2021. The 2020-2021 World Cup calendar will include 39 men's events and 35 women's races. It will be dominated by two principles: separate the men's and women's circuits as much as possible, and avoid bringing together the technical and speed disciplines in the same place.
