Matytsin in an armchair

FISU

No bad surprises in sight for Oleg Matytsin. The president of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) will be re-elected for a second term on Saturday November 16 in Turin, on the first day of the organization's annual general assembly. The Russian is the only candidate for the top post. Oleg Matytsin was elected for the first time in 2015. He then succeeded Frenchman Claude-Louis Gallien. During the same day, Saturday, the first vice-president, treasurer and senior member of the FISU executive committee will also be elected by acclamation. The next day, the general assembly will vote to appoint the 23 other members of the executive committee, for which FISU has registered 44 applications.
