The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) has a change of boss. The organization announced this Monday March 13 the appointment of a new general director, Matt Carroll, recruited after a long process involving more than 300 candidates. Well known for two decades in sporting circles, Matt Carroll notably worked on the Rugby World Cup in 2003, where he was general manager, and within the Australian Rugby Federation, as deputy general manager.
