Michaëlle Jean, the Secretary General of the OIF (International Organization of the Francophonie) has made her choice: the 7th Great Witness of the Francophonie at the Rio Olympic Games in 2016 will be Manu Dibango. The Cameroonian musician and singer succeeds Hélène Carrère d'Encausse, who officiated for the Sochi Winter Games in 2014. Manu Dibango will accompany Michaëlle Jean from Wednesday September 9 to Lausanne to meet Thomas Bach at the IOC headquarters.
