USADA believes in Bolt

Doping

Travis Tygart, the head of the American anti-doping agency (USADA), wants to believe in the integrity of Usain Bolt, the six-time Olympic athletics champion. And he says it. Jamaica, with the unreliability of its program, has “let down” its emblematic Olympic champion, he said from London, where he was participating in a conference on the fight against doping in sport. “It’s unfair to question the performance of athletes solely on what they say. That said, unfortunately sometimes it happens and I think it’s unfortunate for those who experience this,” he continued. According to Travis Tygart, the position of the country's favorite athlete would be strengthened with a more effective anti-doping program in Jamaica.
