The Americans have decided: their Olympic marathon selections for the Rio Games will take place in Los Angeles. The Californian city was competing with Houston, Texas, to host the event. For the occasion, the event will be brought forward to February 13, 2016, instead of mid-March, the usual date for the L.A. marathon.
