Place your bets! The International Skating Union (ISU) has announced the return of its Figure Skating Awards for a fifth edition. The ceremony will take place on March 30 in Boston, on the sidelines of the World Figure Skating Championships. Fans and media can vote online until March 9 in the categories of best costume, best program, the best choreographer and the best coach. And there is plenty of choice since the ISU offers between eight and twenty candidates by category ! The public vote will represent two thirds of the result, and the media vote one third. This vote will determine the final list of nominees. A jury of six former skaters will then award each of the prizes, which will be presented during the gala evening in Boston. "The ceremony will be a magnificent celebration of elegance and enthusiasm, paying tribute to figure skating legends, rising stars and creative visionaries who continually push the boundaries of excellence in the sport”, underlines the ISU.
