Less than 10 months before the Tokyo Games, where the discipline is due to make its debut in the Olympic program as an additional sport, climbing is strengthening its communication. Its international federation, the IFSC, announces that it has signed a partnership contract with the public relations agency Mitchell Stafford Management (MSM), based in Lausanne. Under the terms of the agreement, MSM will support the IFSC in its communications strategy, in particular for the preparation of the Tokyo 2020 Games. MSM was created by the Canadian Andrew Mitchell, a former journalist formerly with the IOC, and the 'Irish Peter Stafford. The agency has notably collaborated with FISU, SportAccord, the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), and the Association of European Olympic Committees (EOC). The international climbing season is set to continue over the coming months, with the continental Olympic qualifying events scheduled in Moscow for Europe (November 20-29), Cape Town for Africa (December 10-13). , in Xiamen for Asia (December 10-13), and finally in Sydney for Oceania (December 19-20).
