The International Canoe Federation (ICF) wants to invest in China. It has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Zhejiang University in the city of Hangzhou and the Chinese Canoeing Association (CCA). It concerns the upcoming construction of a center for the development of paddle sports in China. The project is not short of ambition, since it provides for the establishment of programs dedicated to education, research, training of coaches and referees and branding. The collaboration will also strengthen the presence of canoeing in Chinese university sport and at the Asian Games.
