Virtual sport is still gaining ground in the Olympic world. Meeting face-to-face for the first time in more than two years, the council of the International Canoe-Kayak Federation (ICF) approved on Tuesday June 7 in Poznan (Poland) the creation of a virtual competition. It will allow the best athletes in the world to compete online, individually or within their clubs. This first virtual competition, inspired by Virtual indoor rowing sprints, will be organized by the ICF in partnership with the American brand Kayak Pro, specializing in the manufacture of canoe-kayak ergometers.
