The International Canoe-Kayak Federation (ICF) has in turn joined the movement. She announces the signing of a partnership agreement with the International Control Agency (ITA). Under its terms, the ITA now takes charge of the entire ICF anti-doping program, including in-competition and out-of-competition testing, but also the administration of athletes' biological passports (ABP). The ITA will also continue the ICF's long-term sample storage plan, so that it can potentially re-analyze samples when new technologies become available. The decision to appeal to the ITA was taken last November, during the body's congress in Thailand. It has become effective since the beginning of the year. The ITA currently works with more than 50 Olympic and non-Olympic international federations. Last year, its experts carried out anti-doping controls at more than 500 international sporting events.
