Lamine Diack is fixed. His trial will be held during the second half of January 2020 in Paris. It should begin on January 13, ending 10 days later. The former president of the IAAF will appear before the 3rd chamber of the Paris criminal court. He is being prosecuted for corruption, money laundering and breach of trust. But Lamine Diack, now 86 years old, will not be the only former member of the IAAF to have to appear before French justice. Gabriel Dollé, the former head of the fight against doping within the international organization, and Habib Cissé, Lamine Diack's legal advisor, should also be heard. On the other hand, the three other protagonists in the affair – the Senegalese Papa Massata Diack and the Russians Valentin Balakhnichev (former president of the Russian Athletics Federation) and Alexeï Melnikov (coach) – will most certainly be absent.
