Throwback for SportAccord. At least in terms of name. Meeting on Friday April 7 at a general assembly in Aarhus, Denmark, the members of the organization approved its name change. SportAccord regains its former identity and will now be renamed AGFIS (General Association of International Sports Federations). Another decision taken in Aarhus, much less anecdotal: the establishment of a rotating presidency every two years. Furthermore, the general assembly approved the arrival as associate members of the AIPS (International Sports Press Association) and the WOA (World Olympians Association).
