The Organizing Committee of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games wishes move the diving events to the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center, in the city of Pasadena. A development that would make it possible to achieve up to $17,6 million in savings and increased revenue, thus supporting the objective of organizing financially responsible Games.

LA28 initially considered placing the dive in the Exposition Park area. However, as planning for the Games has progressed and been refined over the past year, including through an in-depth analysis conducted by LA28, it was determined that the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center was the most suitable site to host the tests diving in 2028 ", justifies the organizing committee.
