The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is turning to Japan. It announces having reached an agreement with the agency Kyodo Newsto make it his “recognized press agency ». As such, Kyodo News is committed to providing comprehensive coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games (August 28 to September 8), with particular emphasis on Japanese athletes, but without deviating from its rules of press freedom and editorial independence. Kyodo News had already approached the IPC in 2021, by being the national host news agency for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
