Following the revelations by the American press – USA Today et ESPN – a list of 11 players from Team USA for the men's basketball tournament at the Paris 2024 Games, the name of the 12th and last selected has already leaked. It would be Kawhi Leonard (photo above), the Los Angeles Clippers winger. He will complete a golden squad, provided he has recovered from his knee injury. With the addition of Kawhi Leonard, Team USA for Paris 2024 totals 14 NBA titles, eight MVP titles, nine NBA Finals MVP titles, and 10 Olympic gold medals. The American players will meet in June for a training camp, before playing exhibition matches against Canada, on July 10 in Las Vegas, then in London against South Sudan (July 20), and Germany (July 22). The United States will begin Olympic competition on July 28 in Lille against Serbia, then they will face South Sudan on July 31.
