Yelena Isinbayeva, the world record holder in the pole vault, is preparing for a very busy career change. She has just been appointed president of the athletes' commission of the Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF). At the same time, she became the first ambassador of the city of Volgograd for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. A series of missions which could be extended further next summer, with the pole vaulter being a candidate for the IOC Athletes' Commission.
