The American Olympic Committee (USOC) is preparing to break the bank to better fight against doping. Its Council voted on Thursday June 30 in favor of a 24% increase in the budget allocated to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). Starting next year, the USOC's share of the Agency's funding will increase from $3,7 million to $4,6 million annually. USADA's mission is to control American athletes and all foreign athletes who train or participate in competitions on American soil.
