Hong Kong named host of WTT Finals

Three years later, the WTT Finals return to China. The International Table Tennis Federation has confirmed that Hong Kong to host season finale from December 10th to 14th. The matches will take place at Hong Kong Coliseum. China had not hosted the WTT Finals since 2022, in Xinxiang. The last two editions had taken place in Doha (2023) and Fukuoka (2024).

“It’s at the WTT Finals that our biggest stars face off in their final battles of the year., recalls Steve Dainton, the executive director of the ITTF. Hong Kong is a city that understands the power of great moments. It has the atmosphere, infrastructure and passion to deliver world-class sporting experiencesWe are excited to bring the WTT Finals here, and we see great potential for Hong Kong to be a strategic host for WTT's most iconic events in the future." The competition will offer a total prize money of 1,3 million dollars, a record.
