Patrick Hickey, the president of the Association of European Olympic Committees (EOC), will meet Alexander Zhukov, the head of the Russian Olympic Committee, this weekend. The interview is scheduled to take place in Prague, on the sidelines of the EOC general assembly. Patrick Hickey announced it himself through a press release, where the Irish leader said he felt very concerned by WADA's revelations on doping in Russia, but at the same time very confident about the capacity Russian sports authorities to carry out the necessary reforms. He adds that he wants to take advantage of his next meeting with Alexander Zhukov to show the EOC's support for the Russian Olympic Committee in this difficult period.
