Henry Gourdji takes it up a notch

WADA

Casting change at the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The body based in Montreal, Canada, announces the departure of the president of its independent Compliance Review Committee (CRC). The Australian James Wood, whose mandate was to end at the end of 2022, is leaving his post to “ personal reasons“. He will be replaced on an interim basis, until the end of this mandate, by the current vice-president of the CRC, the Canadian Henry Gourdji (photo above). Through a game of musical chairs, the seat occupied by Henry Gourdji becomes vacant. It will be filled at the beginning of next year until the end of 2022. Having worked at the United Nations, the new president of the CRC is currently director of security policies and strategies of the Foundation for Aviation Safety, an organization independent, non-profit organization that advocates for aviation safety. Next year, WADA's independent Nominating Committee will invite interested parties to apply for the position of CRC Chair for the next three-year term, beginning in January 2023.
