Fosbury president

United States

The American Olympians and Paralympians Association has a new office. It is chaired by Dick Fosbury (photo below), the Olympic high jump champion in 1968, inventor of a technique in his name. He will serve as president for a 4-year term. The rest of the office is made up of a long list of vice presidents, including Carol Lewis, Carl's sister; Candace Gable, multiple selection at the Paralympic Games, winter and summer; or former rowers Carol Brown and Caryn Davies.
