FIS does business with Visa

The season is off to a flying start for the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). The body chaired by Johan Eliasch, one of the seven candidates for the IOC presidency, has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with one of the major players in Olympic sponsorship, the American company Visa. The world leader in digital payments is becoming the title partner of the Snowboard World Cup starting in the 2024-2025 season. Its presence will be visible from the first stop on the circuit, which is scheduled to take place from 30 November in Mylin, China. The agreement announced this week provides exclusive benefits for Visa cardholders, including hospitality packages, promotions and discounts at World Cup events. As a reminder, the American brand has been a global partner of the IOC within the TOP programme since 1986. It has expanded its presence in sport by becoming the first global sponsor of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) in 2023.
