First record in Wroclaw

World Games

The next edition of the World Games, scheduled for July 20 to 30, 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland, promises to be the largest in history in terms of participation. Organizers announced the presence of athletes from 111 countries, a number higher than that recorded four years earlier in Calie, Colombia, where 103 nations had sent a delegation. Among the new entrants, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Laos, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the British Virgin Islands. The 2017 World Games will be broadcast on the IOC Olympic Channel.
