FIBA does business with China. Not a new thing. It announces that it has extended its partnership contract with the company Enlio, one of the main Chinese suppliers of sports coverings. Signed for a period of ten years, the new agreement provides that the equipment manufacturer will provide the court surfaces for the FIBA 3×3 World Tour and the 3×3 Basketball World Cup until 2034. Enlio has equipped the court with Olympic tournament at the Paris 2024 Games, installed in the urban sports cluster, Place de la Concorde. The Chinese company presented last March during the 3×3 basketball Asia Cup in Singapore a new concept of more sustainable court, made from recycled thermoplastic elastomer tiles. It now replaces the traditional synthetic rubber surface, in line with FIBA's commitment to environmental responsibility and reducing its carbon footprint.
