A facelift for the Olympic Museum

Historic date for the Algerian sports movement. Inaugurated very officially on January 26, 2017, in the presence of the president of the national Olympic committee, Mustapha Berraf, and the governor of Algiers, Abdelkader Zoukh, the new Algerian Olympic Museum opened its doors to the general public on Wednesday February 15. A first day dedicated to youth, with the presence of around a hundred students from two city colleges. The schoolchildren were able to discover the place in the company of four Algerian Olympic medalists: Nouria Benida Merah (1500 m), Saidi Sief Ali (5000 m), Abderrahmane Hammad (height), and Mohamed Allalou (boxing).
