Less than 200 days before the Paris 2024 Games (D – 184), the American group Discovery, parent company of Eurosport, is stepping on the accelerator. He announces the launch of a new series of documentaries dedicated to the preparation of athletes. Entitled “Chasing Glory”, it follows six big names in world sport in search of Olympic gold in Paris: the Slovak Peter Sagan, three-time road cycling world champion, converted to mountain biking; Frenchwoman Vahine Fierro, junior world surfing champion; the Norwegian Karsten Warholm, Olympic champion and world record holder in the 400m hurdles; Slovenian Janja Garnbret, Olympic climbing champion; the Dutchman Menno Van Gorp, three-time breaking world champion; Britain's Dina Asher-Smith, 200m world champion in 2019. The first of seven episodes is broadcast this Wednesday, January 24 at 22:00 p.m. (CET) on Eurosport 2, Eurosport.fr and on the Eurosport app.
