The elections of the World Boxing Athletes' Commission will be held in the coming days, on the sidelines of the World Championships, in Liverpool (September 4-14). Six seats are to be allocated. The executive board has validated eleven candidates: six women and five men.
All continents are represented : Yojerlin Cesar (France), Luca Hamori (Hungary), Emilia Koterska (Poland), Daniel Pitt (Wales) and Buse Naz Cakiroglu (Turkey) for Europe, Caitlin Parker (Australia) for Oceania, Caleb Wandera (Kenya) and Lamin Bojang (Gambia) for Africa, Richard Torrez (United States) for America and finally Zareen Nikhat (India) and Li Qian (China) for Asia. All boxers present at the World Championships will be able to vote.
