Eight young players to shape the future

No more missing out. Failed several times, squash is multiplying initiatives to integrate the program of the Paris 2024 Games as an additional sport. The latest, called SquashFORWARD, features a group of eight young hopefuls in the discipline, four boys and four girls, all under the age of 23, invited to shape the future of their sport. The project is presented as a joint initiative of the International Squash Federation (WSF) and the Professional Players Association (PSA). It was symbolically announced on the eve of Olympic Day on June 23. The SquashFORWARD group is made up of the Frenchman Victor Crouin (18 years old), the Peruvian Diego Elias (21 years old), the Egyptian Nour El Sherbini (22 years old), the Malaysian Eain Yow Ng (20 years old), the American Marina Stefanoni ( 15 years old), the Swiss Dimitri Steinmann (20 years old), the Ukrainian Nadiia Usenko (18 years old), the Japanese Satomi Watanabe (19 years old). Its members will meet regularly over the coming months to share their vision of the discipline and discuss how to make it ever more innovative, inclusive and eco-friendly.
