Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko sees far ahead. He wants the city of St. Petersburg to welcome
matches of Euro football 2020, at the Zenith stadium, the construction of which is still not yet complete
finished. Under construction since 2007, this enclosure should have been inaugurated in 2009. But it
should not see the light of day before the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017, despite more than a billion euros
spent on works.
