Russian athletes will have to wait. They will have to spend much of the month of July preparing for the Rio Games without knowing if they will be allowed to experience the event from the inside. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced Monday July 4, via a press release, that it would deliver its verdict "no later than July 21" in the arbitration between the IAAF and the Russian Athletics Federation regarding of 68 athletes candidates for participation in the Rio Games. The CAS explains that it is putting in place an emergency procedure to make its decision before the start of the next Games.
