After Louis Chenaille in the press service, another Frenchman joins the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). Sébastien Gillot, 34, will occupy the position of Communications Director for the institution based at the World Cycling Center in Aigle, near Lausanne. A former journalist for Eurosport and Paris Saint-Germain, this father of two has already gained serious experience within the international sports movement by working successively for FIFA, Havas SE, the Annecy 2018 bid committee and finally the International Boxing Federation (AIBA), where he has directed communications and public relations since August 2011. An experience that Sébastien Gillot will be able to put to the service of the UCI, engaged since the election as President of Brian Cookson the year past, in a vast plan of reforms, overhaul of its image and modernization – a partnership with the digital solutions provider Deltatre was also announced today.
