A 103rd federation joins World Climbing

Uruguay joins the World Climbing family. The Uruguayan Climbing Association (AUDE) becomes the 103rd national federation member of the International Federation. It is also the 18th member from the American continent.

« Led by its president Tomas Dattwyler, AUDE was informed by the Secretary General of World Climbing, Piero Rebaudengo, of the acceptance of its application as a recognized national federation and will continue to develop this sport in the country " explains World Climbing in a statement.

This accession will be ratified at theWorld Climbing General Assembly in April, in Riyadhin Saudi Arabia. A step that will allow AUDE to acquire all its rights, including voting rights.
