Christophe Ubschmid has left his position as Director General of the UCI. An engineer by training, the Swiss joined the UCI in 2011, succeeding his compatriot Jean-Pierre Strebel. His ouster follows the election of Bryan Cookson as head of the UCI. “Certain changes are essential” explained the new head of the institution in a press release. He also announced thatAntonio Rigozzi of Levy Kaufmann-Kohler became external legal advisor.
